Steps
Step 17
Install ¼” poly tubing to the input and output of the
reactor. Fill with top off
water.
* The
elbow fittings use o-rings to seal.
Step 18
Use a timer to activate the mixing pump as desired.
Step 19
Add approximately ½ lb of kalkwasser mix or pickling
lime to charge the reactor.
* It
has been noted that the pickling lime is courser than standard kalkwasser powder and may prematurely wear the impeller of the powerhead.
Step 20 (optional)
Drill a hole in the 4” T Plug PVC (thread) and tap using a ¼” pipe tap. Install a ¼” drain cock to act as a bleeder
valve to remove air.
Output - kalkwasser effluent – to sump / high flow area
Input - from top
off via dosing pump, ect.
