When it "retracts" it just pulls in on itself and turns into a little nub on the rock. The only feathery part is on the tip of the "glass" there are minute little hairs. </P>]]>

Lots of feather dusters, in fact there is also some sort of pink polyp with neon green at the tips that just started growing yesterday... kinda cool seeing things "pop" out.</P><P>Here are a couple pictures of the mystery worm. There are some seriously minute hairs around the outer edge. And I have never seen it retract quickly, however it is always closed at night, and when my blenny or my snails are eating on the rock I always notice after that it is closed up. </P><P>Anywho - thanks for the replies.
