    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=432">BrokeCurmudgeon</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2240<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> March&nbsp;31&nbsp;2004 at 3:08pm<br /><br /><P><FONT size=2>I recently added a Kenya Tree (Sinularis sp) and a Red Brain(Lobophyllia sp) to my 20 gallon nano reef.&nbsp; I have noticed that the zoanthid population have become stressed and stay closed most of the time.&nbsp; The large Sea Mats on the top center rock showed the first signs and then the orange Zoanthid rock closed and has not opened for three days except for a few polyps.&nbsp; They appeared as happy as a clam before this addition.&nbsp; The water parameters are good except that the nitrates are higher than I want (NO3 = 20ppm and&nbsp;PO = .1ppm).&nbsp; Other readings are: Temp 80f; SG 1.024; PH 8.2; Calcium 350; Nitrite 0; Ammonia 0; Alk 5.5.&nbsp; Are there any suggestions?&nbsp; The tank is quite new at 3 months but is doing good otherwise with new coraline growth.</FONT></P><P><FONT size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</P><P><IMG src="../forum/uploads/BrokeCurmudge&#111;n/2004-03-31_160449_Freds_Reef__three_m&#111;nths_out.jpg" border="0"></P>]]>
