It's always a good practice to dip all your new corals in a cleaning/disinfecting agent such as revive, coral rx, etc. before adding them to your tank. What is your frag rack made of? I always have that problem on my high frag racks.   What I do whenever it gets bad is take the entire frag rack out and dip it in vinegar and leave it out of the water for a day, the rinse it and put it back in. I got a frag rack to put in my tank to frag a birdsnest. Soon after I did, I had brown algae all over the frags.  I tried to clean them off, but it just came back. I do not have the algae anywhere else in the tank.  Does this mean they are dead?  I have it close to the top. I have a 65 Gallon, 2 150W phoenix halides.  2 Koralia 3's, and 1 Koralia nano blowing right over the frag rack.  Then my return pump is 900 gallons an hour, so I think i have good flow?
