Any other questions feel free to ask, here or there.  If I were todo a similar system for Jody I would just put the drip down to the sumpin a lower spot, and use a larger reservoir, like a 5 gallonbucket.  Something with a lid would be better too so the Kalkdoesn't react with the CO2 in the air so much (making more calciumcarbonate).

A kalk system like mine is not out of the question, I used to add mykalk manually like you would until you get the RO unit plumbed in.

I heard that the one you can get off the internet is "Dynamite".

I tried several types of tubing on the Spectrapure LiterMeter that I acquired, eventually discovering that silicone tubing is the correct type. If you could pick up a cheap time machine, then Mark's suggestion would be perfect!

Check around to make sure the tubing is robust. This will be the fail point of the pump and will eventually cause you a big mess. If you can find a good dosing pump for $80, I'd say buy it. I was talking to Mark yesterday about dosing with Kalk and he mentioned that he uses a dosing pump.  How many of you use them and how can I locate a good one without spending like $80. 

I'm still in the process of getting my 55 up and running.  Would a system like this be smart for a 55?  Or should I just use a drip system nightly?  I'm not getting an RO unit right away so I'm going to be manually adding fresh R/O water so for the time being that kind of rules out a Kalk reactor.
