I was afraid of that. Damn. Ok, A clear one it is. I do like the halide. Mike, the brace is there for a reason and if you remove it, you should replace it with a clear acrylic brace. I hope you like the halide.

I have a problem, I installed a new light today but the brace on the tank is casting a shadow. Is there a problem with removing the brace? The tank is a 45gal, 36inch long by 24inches deep and 12inches wide.
