Aiptasia / Glass Anemone Removal

I picked up some live rock last week that had corals and aiptasia on it.  I didn't want to get a butterfly fish to eat it, and nibble at the corals and clams also.  So I pulled the rock out of the water and dumped salt directly on the aiptasia.  It immediately shriveled up.  So far, I haven't seen any sign of it coming back.  This would be difficult if it is on a large base rock, but for the smaller ones, it works great.
