At the end of the clip they report officials as saying there is huge black market for these corals/live rock.  I'm not so sure about that.  Do you really think there is a black market out there for it?
Anyway here is a perfect example of why I tell people to just have fun diving and to not try and bring anything home with them.

I would say there is a huge black market for rock and coral as you can see it took 1 guy to get 300+ pounds of live rock. Lets just say he sells it on ebay or any other place for $1.99 per pound thats $600 in 1 nights work all profit....

I think if you do not know people in the hobby and your choice for live rock is paying $6-8/lb at a lfs or paying considerably less on ebay most would chose the least expensive option. I also doubt that customers are thinking of the rock on ebay, or craigs list or whatever as a "black market"

I agree, The customer/buyer doesnt know any better to how or where the rock came from just that they are getting a deal. Im sure if you have bought rock or some florida coral off ebay it was collected illegally, Im not saying all of it is but i would be alot of it is...
