Has anyone tried making an in sump protein skimmer? Something that would handle a well stocked 125 gallon tank? If not, have you heard of any success with DIY protein skimmers at all and their effectiveness in comparison to name brand ones?

After reading those posts, a few people have tried searching for DIY skimmers and not found it. Strange. This is proving to be very interesting though. Thumbs%20Up

Search works fine for me.

In the "Search by keyword" box type "skimmer"
Under "Search Forum" sellect "DIY"
Under "Find Posts" sellect "Any Date"

I got 17 pages of hits
