I don't know the scientific name, but I have a sweet hot pink plate coral but it seems to be dieng on me?  I don't know if there is anything that I can do for it other than take a loss?  Anyone have any suggestions?  Basically it looks as though his "flesh" is disentegrating in parts and are white now?  Let me know!

Thanks

Brandon

Do you have any idea why it might be dying?  How is your Ph and Alkalinity?  You could frag the parts that are still healthy if you feel comfortable doing it.

are you feeding it at all?
I will just give my warning that your system will flood, bulbs will burn out, and things will take continuous maintenance... get over it.

When they start to go, it's either because of tank conditions or something is eating it. How long have you had it and how long has the tank been set up?

Bring it to me now and maybe we can save it.

I'd like to see a pic of that hot plate pink coral.  I have a theory (Mark don't tell anyone my theory).

If it's a plate coral, the chances of it living if you frag it are slim to none.  It's very difficult to frag a healthy one.
