Hi Everyone, Just wondering if anyone new why a red-green favia would lose most of its green pigmentation? Its growing well, and all the other corals in the tank seem happy. I had it (not directly) under a 150W MH (14000 K) in about 32 inches of water. I have now moved it to another tank with 144 Watts of PC's (1/2 white, 1/2 actinic) under 15 inches of water. I test for NH3, NO2, NO3, PO4, Ca, and they are all with in parameters. I know I probably should test for Mg, but I have been SeaChem's Mg additive with the "begginers instructions".
Bought it from Fish 4 U. Not sure on the previous lights. I have had it for probably 9-12 months. My lights are described in the first post. Ill look into the "browned out". Thanks
