Topic: Proud Mom - updated pic Posted: December 13 2004 at 2:54pm |
Just like all moms - I feel the need to show off some of my kids! Please excuse my picture-taking-skills, I am still a rookie!

This is Dizzy and Majesty - two of my favorites.

This is Dori (original I know!)

This is PeeWee - my daughters favorite

This is "patches" we adopted him last night. He had a pop-eye that exploded

and of course the tank!
I have way too many to put pics up of all of them but these are some of my favorites.
Wow- these pictures are bad!

Thank you! It is a Nikon 8700. I just got it and I am not sure how to use it.

WoW! What a hot tank! I love the powder blue. They have been
my favorite for years.
Glad you're back!

I think your pictures are good! The fish aren't all blurred. You have great taste in fish. Love your names, too.

How long have you had your angel? Does he behave around your corals? Is there any sps corals in your tank?

Renee - Thank you - my daughter names most of them - except for my dizzy blonde! I tried to figure out how many fish we have but I stopped counting. I have way too many but they are all happy and doing good. Knock on wood....
Kevin - I have had the angel for about 8 or 9 months. The only problem I have ever had is with mushrooms. I had a rock with tons of red mushrooms on it and he plucks them off. He doesnt eat them he just pulls them off and spits them out. A lot of them have re-attached to other rocks and he leaves them alone. I do have sps but he leaves them alone. Luck of the draw I guess.

PeeWee is hanging out in some gorgeous Red Grape Algae ...that hasn't been eaten!
That tank is a whole lot different from the one I saw when I visited you a year ago. I like it.

Mark - The red grape is pretty safe - it is in the little tank. It is being sacrificed to the injured Powder Blue but still looks pretty good. The only things I have changed since you have been here is I added a powerhead and a UV sterilizer. The UV made all the difference in the world. i still have the same filtration - I think it just needed time to get balanced. Thank you!

Yeah but unless I'm mistaken, that tank in the pic was a fish only tank when I saw it and it was going downhill fast (IMO) I don't remember it having any coral, or at least any coral that would survive long. You're doing great.

Looks great to me too! Pictures are good, fish and corals have good color and look healthy! The powder blues are one of my favorites too!
