Hello,

I have a 24g Nano with a clown fish.  I hear many of Anemones get really big.  Is there one that would be good for a clown fish and not to big for my tank?

thanks,
Matt
Here is what a customer said while on hold Oh my gosh! Did you open the door? I told you not to open the door. Dre is in here completely naked and he's got freak'n Macaroni and Cheese in his hands.

Welcome Turbostud653!

Clownfish do not need an anemone. Most anemones need strong light. I have had good luck with Rock Flower anemones in nanos under PC lighting but clowns do not host in them. I have had clowns host in many corals such as Hammer, Frogspawn, Toadstool & Lobophytum leathers, Green Star Polyps, Pom Pom Xenia and others. All of those do well in a nano.

I've been able to keep bubble tip anemones in my 24 jbj with pc lighting.  They have grown a ton and even spit.  Granted as anemones they do wonder from time to time, but that comes with the territory.  And of course my maroon LOVES them.  He hosts all of them.  LOL
