Recently picked up a 210 in great shape. Just needs resealing. (I dont mind I have time)
I have resealed a 75, 55, 20 gal leaky tanks before with good luck  with GE window & door type 1 silicone clear. This tank is 29" tall so I thought I would get some feedback out of  some of you who have resealed a large aquarium before. Will GE 1 W/D work?
Here is my process:

1- vacume and clean old sand.
2 scrape old silicone
3- Clean with alcohol let dry
4-clean with water let dry
5- Tape edges (for factory look.)
6- put new silicone on
7-let dry for 2 days
NOTE I will not be taking Glass/ Top bottom supports completely apart. But just seams. I have been told not to take top/bottom off before as it will break them getting them apart.

Also Has anyone ever moved these on Appliance dolly's without having seal problems? Would I be smart just waiting to seal after I move it with the dolly to its home?

Thanks for Comments / tips

Just don't use any mold or mildew resistant silicone. You can even buy Aquarium silicone from Home Depot.

Too bad you had to pass on that. I would love to have a 210!

Thanks I noticed All glass sells their own brand even in black! I will pick it up when I'm ready to tackle this project.

I will definitely use the 2" Styrofoam under it to help level it.

yes on a glass tank it was made to sit on the rim not the glass so if you put the foam under it it will crack
