I have a beautiful Purple condy anenome and a Green Bubble tip anemone in my reef tank.  I noticed yesterday that there was what looked to be some small clear tentacles coming out from under a crevasse in between my rocks.  It kind of looks like a tiny condy, but I dont know. I was under the impression that anenomes split in two to multiply. Can anyone give me some advice on this as to what it could be and how anenomes multiply. Thanks.

My RBTA multiply by splitting into two.  Sometimes they split into three.  Sometimes it isn't directly down the middle so I get a small one and a large one.

Anemones can reproduce sexually and asexually that is by spawning or through scission. They usually multiply by dividing!

Sounds like Aiptasia to me. Not to worry, add a Peppermint Shrimp or two and enjoy.
