This is the animal described in my Black and White Spiral thread:

http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=26021

I have another organism that I am currently watching. It is a round-topped red bump on a rock. Last night when I put some of my home made frozen food in the tank it protruded what looked like some stubby feeder like things. After a period of time it went back to its normal round-topped shape.

Here it is pretty open, but a little fuzzy (bad glass angle and surface ripple. That is my excuse and I am sticking to it!! Wink )

Closed up a little do to top off water being added before thinking about changing the angle and getting a little closer.

It looks like a coralimorph probably a warm water relative of the Strawberry Anemone. I have them in my tank too. I have found them to be harmless and not a pest.

Strawberry anemones come from the Pacific Ocean along the west coast of North America. It is likely that the anemone pictured is a warm water relative of the Strawberry Anemone from a warmer part of the Pacific and came as a hitchhiker on live rock.

Do they reproduce and multiply by sexual or division?

Both but I think division is most common.
