I have an rbta that was attached to 2 different rocks well one rock fell and tore a chunk off the rbta. He has been in a very stressed mode very pale and stringy. for a few weeks anyway and I fear this may do him in. should I remove him now? and just call it a loss. before he fouls the tank? will he faoul the tank if he dies? he is pretty small 1 1/2 dia foot.

I don't think it will make it through something like this. I would take him out, but you might want to wait for a more educated answer.
