my sneaky little clown gobi needs to be removed because my tomato clown is picking on him, and i cannot catch this litttle guy ,

does anyone know any catching tricks?

Don't use a shop-vac.  Although this will work, you have to be quick or the syphon you create will cause a huge mess. I've never done this personally, but know someone who was so frustrated with clown gobies that she resorted to this method.  She got the goby, but ended with a huge mess.
You might try a fish trap. These little guys are awesome, but super quick and hard to catch.

I just used 1/4 inch clear tubing to siphon mine out when I needed to remove him. I got the tubing really close to him while he was sitting on a rock. Started the siphon and he went right into it. He was small enough that he just went down it into the bucket and I moved him to another tank. No mess took less then a minute.
