My melenarus was showing weird symptoms this morning. His mouth is open like wide open and its not shutting... Thought it was weird. What are your thoughts on it?
This is more than a hobby; its a lifestyle.

Was he swimming normal? What about his breathing- is it fast or too slow? Is he eating normal? That's weird but is he back to normal since you posted this? It might be normal but none of my fish do this.... Any ways hope the little guy is fine!

Had an anthias do that, and he couldn't take in food properly afterward. My guess is that he bashed his head into something and broke his jaw...or something. Is yours eating correctly? If not, then no bueno.
