In urgent need of two 1 inch thread low profile strainers.   Does anyone have this???

DIY strainer/screen: 
Needlepoint Plastic Canvas stitched together with fishing line in whatever custom shape desired. It holds shape very well, even when clogged with algae or whatever. The larger the strainer the less it clogs because there is less suction pressure at any one point. Here's a pic.

I have a couple 1" slip strainers if they will work...

At the right, behind the clam and left of the lockline is a 6" strainer "tube" of plastic canvas wrapped around the PVC elbow. Even with that amount of Caulerpa stuck/growing around it, the gph was not reduced. Smile

I hadn't thought of using that needlepoint canvas for strainers, cool idea Mark! I might do that over some powerheads in the new tank to make things a little safer nems.

I found some! Thank you everyone!!!  And mark that is an awesome idea!   Also love your little guy! hes so cuteeee!  Blue spots are so pretty on them. :D
