They're expanding the The Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument, I wonder how much it will affect the collection of ornamental fish....

As far as I can tell, not at all. It looks like the Reserve is being expanded to the west. That area seems to be just more tiny islands and open water. The largest hobby collection area is the waters around the Big Island of Hawaii(Hawaii County, Hawaii) quite a distance south of the Marine Reserve. In fact it's my understanding that collectors try to stay as close to home as possible so they wouldn't typically venture as far north as the edges of the Marine Reserve.

Still it's nice to preserve that part of the ocean for all the varied marine life living there and migrating through there.
