Topic: basement project Posted: September 25 2016 at 6:17pm |
I have finally finished the basement project and built the first tank. 75 gallon is up and running. The wall on the left side of the pic is where I want to put the big tank. RO|DI has been run to both locations and there is a drain plumbed in between them. I haven't decided where to build the mixing station yet so I'm stuck using a 50 gallon drum. All in all I am very pleased and proud of myself with this rooms transformation. I can hardly wait to get the next tank. I haven't decided whether to go reef or FOWLR. Any suggestions? I was thinking 200+. Anyway, thanks for letting me express my excitement.

One Saturday each year everyone that wants to go will tour and see tanks. Those who display them volunteer to open there homes for the tour. People get to see what others have done and have a chance to make some great associations. It's a lot of fun.
Tanks in all stages are shown, new ones or well established it doesn't matter. People get to see them, ask questions and get some idea for their tanks. Some times it's really busy and a lot of people are there, other times you only have a few people and that creates an opportunity to have some one on one conversation and exchange information.
We will announce the date after the first of the year after we get the year planned out.

Lol. Probably touring not hosting my first time around. But maybe. We'll see how the room progresses between now and March.
