Connie, any new thoughts on your in-wall tank set up? Will you be able to view the tank from both sides? Will the cabinets underneath be big enough to hide all of the incidentals (skimmer, refugium, etc)? I'd love to try something similar in my basement in a couple of years. When you decide to get to it, please keep us updated on your progress.

I just caught up with this post. My dad installed a firepole between floors in the new house he's building. His parents (my grandparents) had one in their house in bountiful when he grew up and I got to play on it as a young kid. TONS of fun. Seriously., just remember a good pad at the bottom.
