QuoteReplyTopic: Found aiptasia anemone and sea slug? Posted: April 08 2009 at 1:39pm
My tank is one month old, I have discovered something growing on one of my rocks. I have found out is is apitasia anemone. I understand these are not good, what is the best way of getting rid of it. I also found this morning some sort of sea slug on my glass (there was some green algae growing there). I am assuming it is some sort of sea slug (he has no shell). I am hoping he is good thing. Any thoughts? Thanks
Welcome chrisnkidz64!
I've never had aptaisa problems but you might want to get it under control now before it spreads. The sea slug is most likely harmless or beneficial but it's hard to say without a pic.
I'm in Taylorsville too........stop by and say hi!
90g mixed reef
GOT CRABS?
Sometimes I wonder "why is that frisbee getting bigger?"....and then it hits me
I will pick up some of that aptasia x. I looked at the pictures and read about the snails and he definately looks like a stomatella snail. Well I am glad he is a good thing. Thanks for both of your help. I would love to stop by some time dduts.
dduts I'd like to come over sometime and check out your setup.
Here is what a customer said while on hold Oh my gosh! Did you open the door? I told you not to open the door. Dre is in here completely naked and he's got freak'n Macaroni and Cheese in his hands.
