Rio, I'm not sure on the timer vs. no timer deal. I just wanted to give you a heads up for halides. I'm curious why you would want to delay your skimmer though after a power restore.

It is a ER that is in sump, and when my tank and seperate fuge tank drain thay fill my sump to all but 2in from top, So when power comes back on it can and dose from time to time over flow the cup,  basicly the extra H20 covering the new style ER exit pipe hold extra h20 in and it overflows.
Im open to ideas you have been a great help.

hmmm.......wish I had more for ya on that. I might check the neptune forum on RC. That's a great resource and I'm sure you will get what your looking for. Other than the skimmer, is everything else up and running now? Are you wondering how you EVER survived without a controller now?Big smile
