Hey i noticed this thing on this frag a few days ago. I have only had the frag for a few weeks. Any ideas? It has what appears to have a eyeball and a bunch of little black dots around the rim. I haven't seen it really move. But it appears to be getting bigger since i noticed it.

It looks like a sponge.  They eye is the opening where water moves in and out.

I agree, looks like a sponge, some feel very rubbery.
