Not that I have any experience, But I've read they do that if they don't like the spot they are in or stress/sick. I don't know, hopefully an experience person will chime inShocked.

I read some about it and found it has a 50/50 chance once it does this.

Yeah, I'm thinking in a place where there is less of a chance of getting harrassed by other things and/or better chance of food. Just my $.02. Also check water parameters.

I have a couple that just crawl out. I put them back in and they have all made it. Flow might be to much, Pestered by fish, crabs etc.
