I'm trying to ascertain if my condy is dying or if it's just really moody!  For the last 2 day's it's gone from dead looking to fully inflated, eating, etc then back to dead looking.  I don't have any happy condy pictures with me but here are some I took today.

So here's mad Condy at noon

By 3:30pm I had happy Condy, full, fluffed up, etc

6pm I had this again

I've fed it twice in the last 5 days, both times it scarfed some krill or mysis.  My clowns have hosted it... then this today.  So do you think it's dying or adjusting?  It never quite found a spot to plant it's foot, it's been wandering for 2 weeks without ever planting it's foot.  The RBTA is doing wonderfully so water parameters can't be that bad.

IME it is not dying... these tend to get "pissy" sometimes and to wander the tank for awhile before getting set. As long as you don't see any kind of tissue "disintegration" going on I wouldn't be too concerned.

As far as feeding, once every week or 2 is plenty. Two or more times each week is probably too much - they will get some food whenever you feed the rest of the  tank...Small amounts, small pieces are best. They also generally like higher intensity lighting.

What type of lighting / photoperiod are you running? How is your flow?

IME these guys like a little more water movement than a RBTA  and like to find a nice nook or cranny in the rockwork in which to plant their foot. Once they find a spot they like, they don't move much. 2 of my 3 have been on the same rocks for almost 3 years; they didn't even move when I changed tanks back in May.

It is just moody.  i just went to look at mine and it looks just like yours right now.  Mine does this every once in a while.  But it is still kicking.

Great thanks!  This morning it was puffed up and the clowns were happily sleeping in it.  I'm running a 250W MH in the middle of the tank and a 175W on each side along with 120w PC's.  The MH's are on 8 hours a day.  Flow is pretty good, right now I'm at x22, he's in a low flow spot though, I've moved him several times, he's right on top of my Kenya tree little bugger but decided to let him plant there if he wants and I'll move the KT's if he bugs them, so far they are all happy together.
