What causes snails to die

I just bought 10 turbo snails to try and get rid of the hair algae in my 90 and I just noticed like 4-5 of them are already dead. Is there something that could be causing them to die?

Were they just shipped in? I don't think they ship too well.

No they had had them for at least a week. Nothing ate them because two of them are still where they were yesterday right side up and all

So many snails are named Turbo. Are they large Pacific Turbos?
A week is like just shipped in when they are moved to a new tank.
Did they get hot in the bag on the way home?
Acclimation procedure?
Are there other snails in the tank? What type?
Can you post a pic of the tank?
