I took a shot of these guys the other day and just wanted to share them with you all. They are shy little buggers but I love em. If you have the means I would highly recommend these odd little creatures, they are just too cool to watch and will eliminate Aptasia like no bodies business.

Harlequin shrimp eat aiptasia? I've never heard of that before! I never would have believed it.

I have them to control asternia stars, but I have never seen them eat aptasia.  You are double lucky.

No way! Smile  These are obligate feeders and anemone is not on the menu. Are you sure you don't have some peppermint shrimp in there as well?

OMG I'm so sorry. I just read a whole thread about aptasia before posting and well ya I meant to say Asteria Embarrassed. I've been doing the meditation training this week and wasn't quite all there last night, I hope you guys can forgive me on my typo.

Those guys are awesome,
Do you have any plans for their long term survival, are you propagating asternia, or cutting off legs to feed them?
I've always loved them, but even with the asternia I pull out, I'm guessing I could only keep them for several weeks at best.
