Last month my Tiger Cuc looked as if something tore its insides out. It was shrunken up and I was ready to dispose of it.... Well before I did, I thought that I would do some research and what I found amazed me. If one of these animals feels threated, it has the ability to eject its insides. Apparantly they are lethal to crabs and other organisms. I removed it from my frag tank and placed it in my sump where it would not be bothered. It took about 6 weeks but it healed and finally is eating again. This hobby is amazing. These creatures are very resilient! What I learned from this experience is things that appear dead or near death may not always be so...
