Can frozen Mysis cone back to life? I was watching my tank because it looked pretty cloudy and there are tons of little fish? They look like little clear fish however one is orange. They don't look like they swim but more like do a spaztic little jump/swim. Any clues? I feed frozen Mysis and flakes. I currently have 2 occelaris clowns, a diamond goby, 8 hermits 2 turbos 8 astrea 8 nassuris and a couple nerite.
Sorry about the spelling my phone keeps changing it and for some dang reason wont let me correct it. They don't have any legs that I can see and look like the freshwater glass fish that they sale at petco.

It doesn't look like any of the pictures of copepods online. It looks more like a tiny clear fish. My camera wont get a clear picture of them. If it is copepods Is that good? Bad? Indifferent?

Amphipods maybe?

Either way, probably not a bad thing...
180 Gallon, 75 gallon, 30 gallon, 5 gallon. On a side note: I have just now decided that "Gallon" is a funny looking word.

It's none of the above.
They are Mysid Shrimp and they are always mistaken for little fish. Mysid occur naturally and reproduce naturally in some tanks. They sometimes make "figure eight" swimming motions.

LOL

To answer the other question, Copepods, Amphipods and Mysid are just a few of the tiny inverts that help stabilize and feed our reefs. 99.5% of the species in our tanks are all good.
I cannot count how many times I've looked at the "little fish" in a hobbyists aquarium only to confirm that they are Mysid Shrimp.

Except for Bangaii Cardinals, saltwater fish start out as larvae. Larvae do not "swim". They jerk.

Lol. I knew that the frozen shrimp couldn't come back to life but I wasn't sure if the other life stages of the shrimp could withstand the frozen environment but as I write it I realize that it sounds more like magic than science. Thank everyone so much for the replies. I just get a little worried when something goes different. I wad also wondering if feather duster worms are ok?
