QuoteReplyTopic: Help with tank move? Posted: January 14 2013 at 12:53pm
Hello everyone, I just wanted to post here to see if anyone would be willing to help me move a tank? I bought Tyler's 130g rimless and am now trying to figure out the best way to move it to my house. I am planning on renting a cargo van/truck from u haul to do the move since I don't have a car big enough to fit the tank and stand in. I will be moving the tank from his house in north Ogden to mine in west valley and really just need a few guys to help get it loaded and unloaded. We won't be moving any livestock so no worrys about keeping anything alive except for keeping the rock wet which should be pretty simple. Planning to do the move this Saturday 1/19 not sure on an exact time yet.
I'll buy lunch for whoever helps. Also if anyone has a truck or van big enough to do the move that wouldn't mind helping out that would save me from having to rent that would be awesome. I would of course pay for your gas.
So anyone that might be able to help out please post or send me a pm and we can go from there.
Also where can I rent some of the glass suction cup handles?
Eric at Aquarium Creations has suction cups. He donates the money raised back to the club I think. If it wasn't for me being out of town Saturday I'd be glad to help you on the Ogden end. Sorry.
