I am planning a lighting upgrade for my 29g (30X12x20.) This is my first tank and it has only been set up for ~11 weeks so I am still pretty ignorant about many things.

I came across this product on e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3 212&item=4366719865&rd=1  Does this seem like a good product to you all?

I would like to eventually keep SPS and other very light demanding critters. Would that be possible under 4 VHOs?

thanks

It's possible, but not recommended. Have you considered this option?

Hope that helps,

Chris

Yes I like those halide options.  I have a 29 gal.  I'm running a retro kit with two 150w hqi halides.  I wish I had more light, but it seems to be fine.
