I just got this 400w venture MH bulb from a friend that's an electrician, I'm not into MH so I don't know if you can even use this kind of bulb in a reef tank. Can some one please tell me if this kind of bulb can be used, or what it's worth. Not going to use it so I can always give it away or trade it for frags.

Typical commercial MH bulbs are in the yellow end of the spectrum, good for plants and algea, not the best for coral. It's just the bulb then?

Both zoo colonies opened up immediately, I haven't secured the kenya tree yet so it's been free roaming, but when it pops up it opens nicely. How's the stand working? I came up with an idea to fix the no-stay-up lid if it's been giving you trouble. I can come by this weekend with a saw and fix it up nice and quick.

In fact if you wanna come by here, just bring the thing with you and I can even seal the inside while it's here.
