Topic: Inverts in a Fowlr Posted: September 09 2009 at 4:17am |
Anyone have any idea what type of cleanup crew would be safe in a fowlr with butterflies, maybe a lionfish, some non reef safe wrasses, and some angel fish? I was thinking snails any input? Thanks

I have astrea's in my aggressive tank with lion, and triggers, and puffers, oh my...sorry. Oh and a snowflake eel. The triggers do eventually eat them, but it takes them awhile.

Oh, I do have some hermits it there too. Again, they do get eaten, but it takes awhile. My puffer does not show too much interest, but when I sleep, ya never know. hehe

Chad is a great guy for sure...I need to get some more snails come to think about it...thanks! Triggers don't care if they are bigger than their mouth's...that could be sadistically fun to watch if you are into that type of thing. Now that I think about it...why am I okay with them eating snails and hermits, but not other fish? Could be economics.

Snails and hermits are favorite foods of the non reef safe wrasses. That's exactly why they are non reef safe!
This is where a Sea Hare could be ideal to come in clean up and leave.
