I have 4 clownfish that are in my rimless tank. 2 Picasso, 2 Snowcasso's. All 4 of them have black spots on them. They act fine, eat fine, swim fine. I believe it's because they are hosting corals that may cause this????? I don't believe it's black ich.

 Looks like this...

Pam I have had that happen when mine host say like a frogspawn, I do believe they get stung by it. But I am no expert so i would just keep an eye on them:-)

Is the spot slightly raised or completely flat with their scales/skin?

Corals in the Euphyllia family will leave blotchy dark sting marks on hosting clowns. Doesn't hurt them and is not permanent. It will slowly fade as soon as one or the other is removed. Not very attractive on a pretty white snowcasso.
