 Topic: low light corals

I have a fish only 55 gallon tank. It has 2 pinkish 55w pc's lighting it. Despite fish incompatability(or too much compatability  ) what would do well in this newish tank.
Tracy keeps telling me that I need to put some sort of softy in it. I keep telling her that it needs to mature. I was thinking maybee zoo's or something that doesn't get munched that often and is hardy...

Sky, why reply when Adam has said it all.
Those 2 corals are probably the best in low light and are not as likely to get eaten by your fish as other low light corals. Though it could still happen.

why is leather so heardy? Is 2 55w PC's over a 55gallon tank concitered low light? I know 500W of MH would be preferable... but would more stuff live it 110pc lighting?

Maybe leathers are hardy because they are a big fat animal that lives in wild conditions more like what most people keep their aquariums. Detritus everywhere and hardly any light!  These days more and more people with advanced systems don't consider leathers to be that much different than any other coral. IMO that's because their conditions are not as ideal for leathers.
PC lighting is good for everything except the most light demanding coral, as long as the coral animal with greater lighting needs is placed high enough in the tank to receive more light energy.

Sky, 2 55 Watt PC's over a 55 gallon tank is 2 watts per gallon. That is considered low light. A high light tank is 6-10 watts per gallon.
