Topic: Nudibranch ID - anyone want it? Posted: May 28 2005 at 2:06am |
Well found this guy tonight crawling around one of my clams. He is about 1-1.5" long.
And as anyone who knows me knows... you dont mess with my clams.
Although I am sure he was not feeding or harming my derasa, I would still like to know if he is friend or foe. Anyone know?

That is totally it. Doesnt give a family name for it though. That helps pin the search down a little. :)
That is strange because I do not have any gorgonian in my tank at all. I wonder what he has been surviving this whole time... strange.
Thanks for that link!

Ok I found it.
Strange - it says it feeds on softies. Seeing as how I have no softies in my tank - I wonder how it is surviving.
My wife refuses to let me put it back in the tank. Anyone want it?

Suzy- take it and try it. If it doesn't eat them, oh well. But give it a shot.
