on one of my live rocks I have a growth.  I'm not too worried about it, as it is not a quick grower and is stationary (hence, not aggresive) but I just want to be sure that it's not a baddie.

It's a bit bigger than a silver dollar, and looks like a cobweb or a pile of cotton.  In the center is something that looks like a feather duster, about a quarter of an inch across.  Whatever that is, it acts like a feather duster, definitely a tube worm of one kind or another.

If this is bad, how do I treat it, else how do I feed it or just leave it alone?

I have no idea what it is, but I'm sure it is good.

It kinda sounds like some kind of sponge with a feather duster in the middle? But I'm not sure.

maybe if you feed it like Phytoplankton and or Rots. Cause I bet it is a
filter feeder.

that's what I was thinking it was, and from my description that's what the guy at the LFS said also.
