This is one of my favorite soft corals in my tank.  I happened to check it out just in time to see it spawning.  As far as I know It's been at it for at least 20 minutes now.  It curled it's branches together and there is stuff that looks like "smoke" emanating from it's polyps.

It was pretty cool. I watched it for about half and hour and then had to leave for an appointment.  I got back about 45 minutes later and it's all over.  I think it was actually more or less over before I left. 

It was neat to see it happening.  This is the kind of thing that probably happens all the time in our tanks, but we don't see it cause we're not watching 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
