Well they haven't been out for even a year yet. So nobody can tell you if they last. If they are anything like the power heads I can speak for those. I would recommend them to anyone. Great quality and for the price you can't go wrong. IMO

Not exactly sure, but I think there are older and newer models. I would recommend buying the next model up DC 6000.

I have not used the Jebao return pumps, but I do have two WP40s and I really like them. I took them apart to clean them and the internals were rugged and well made. I also opened each of the controllers that allow you to vary the speed. The layout was professional, the workmanship was very good. I hacked it a bit while I was in there to make the control wires longer. It's pretty much an arduino with a 5 Volt DC driver that controls the actual head. I'd say go for it. The price is about par with a used Mag pump, plus these are quieter and controllable.
I have read around on them and no one has been able to tell me what the difference is between the Jebao and the Diablo. I wish I had two to compare side by side.

Jebao and diablo are the same in the 1st gen. Jebao is on gen 2 now. The diablo series is retired besides the dc10500 they're coming out with a newer version this month

Yes only in jebaos 1st gen and then in 2nd gen has more head pressure but not by much. Diablo has not done a 2nd gen yet but it will be released soon. There is difference between the pumps cosmeticly colors, volute on them etc.
