Went to Lowe's on 13th South 3rd West and they said Lowe's doesn't carry Krylon...only Rustoleum.

Just did a search on Walmart.com and Krylon didn't come up either.

Also, did a search on Google Shopping and it said Sears carries it.  Went to Sears downtown and they said that all Sears in Utah stopped carrying spray paint.

???

I see krylon every time I'm in walmart down in payson, since I plan on painting the back of my tank sometime.
I've also found it at do it best hardware stores
Kmart has some spray paint as well (at least in spanish fork).

I read on RC that Rustoleum "Plastic" is reef safe, so I picked up a can at Depot in case I strike out completely.  Anyone know if this is true?  I'm painting PVC for my returns, so it will be in the water in the overflows and outlets.

Jake, when you paint your pipes take a red scothbrite pad or 600 grit sand paper and scuff all your pvc real good. This helps the paint stick MUCH better. Most people do not do this and thats why their paint is flaking off their pvc 6 months later. A nice scuff gives the paint something to "bite" to.  Also I would not stress to much on whether or not it is "reef safe" most (but not all) paints are fine after they fully cure (read label, sometimes it is a few days up to a few weeks) by cure I don't mean when you can touch it, but when all the solvents have had time to escape and the paint to harden. I think alot of people use Krylon Fusion because it is supposed to stick better to plastics then normal spray paint. You can get normal spray paint to stick to plastic just as well if you prep the plastic part correctly. Pm me if you can't find Fusion anywhere and I will let ya know what you needWink
