| Now I want to do a float valve running the juice to a small powerhead in a bucket that's plumed into the tank for a top off system, what do you all think? Anyone done this, or have any better ideas? |

A float switch is what you want to use not a valve. http://www.floatswitches.net/ - http://www.floatswitches.net/

Kirk, are you sure you want your new name to be Reesaver.net and not Reefsaver.net? BTW, that's a great price on float switches, I spent almost twice that at Grainger. If you're using a float switch you might consider protecting the reed from high inductive current draws. Thanks Jon I got a little ahead of my self. The correct logon should show Reefsaver and we're working on getting http://www.Reefsaver.net - www.Reefsaver.net up and running. Anybody up on adding ecommerce to a website?

Kirk - there are numerous ways you can do this. However, imo the easiest is when you sign up for a merchant acct.(to accept visa/mc/discover and so on) they will give you the option of tying an ecommerce functionality into your website. There are a ton of different merchant providers you just have to decide which works best for you and your situation.
There are companies that have have built in check out programs you can add for quite cheap too. Paypal is also another nice alternative or additional option to provide and they can tie their functionality into your site as well. |

I use a 20g Rubber made to hold kalk mix and a power head to push the water into the sump... of couse the float switch controls the power head. Works really well for me. |
