I used to have two blue 55 gallons drums.  I believe I let someone in the club use them, but I don't remember who.  I you borrowed my drums can I get them back?

My guess is I will never see them again.  So does anybody know where I can get two 55 gallon drums for cheap?

I got mine at Utah barrel for $18 each! ask for the $18 ones or they try to sell more expensive ones that are identical!

I called Utah barrel.  They didn't have any for $18, but the did have some without lids for $9.50, and that will work for me.

Thanks

The ones without lids were not poly drums, but they did have some used poly drums for $18.50.  They were all used, I went through the stack and tried to pick out ones that didn't smell like they used to contain arsenic, poison or copper (can you even smell copper?).  I think it would probably be safer to buy drums that are safe to store potable water.

oooh i can imagine the smell now!!! weird, the ones I got were brand new with lids poly, drinking water safe. I was about a year ago that I got them though. they are storing our emergency water supply, there are two of us and I have 110 Gallons! we could live on that for a while and still have enough to do a water change or two!LOL

sorry if utah barrel was a poor recommendation.

Nope, great recommendation.  I bought the cheapest ones, but they had other options.
