there like 4 - 5 in. tall and when there closed there about 1 in. and look like a oblong bubble

Scientific name: Anthellia, common names: Woods Polyps and Clove polyps.
Watch out. They grow like weeds in most tanks.
But they are gorgeous when they sway with the current.
The words of our National Anthem come to mind "...amber waves of grain..."

That's about 10 years and 10 tanks ago. Yes it was nice. It was fun.
Adam Blundell came to my place on the Reef Tour then and was inspired to get into the hobby. The rest, as they say, is history.

wow , you know ive been talking to my wife tring to move to slc she asked pros and cons and you know the only thing i could tell her ..... we would be closer to salt reef stuff she didnt like that too muchLOL
