Just curious if anyone ever had any problems with an arrow crab? maybe its just that this one is in a 24 gallon nano and is the size of my hand... (its the biggest one I've ever seen)

but when I go to feed or anything it chases the fish around trying to catch them (two clown fish and a firefish)  its even starting to do this just when we come up to the glass thinking its going to get fed...

anyway I'm debating putting it in my bigger tank  because when he starts moving around the fish freak out and get out of its way =P to the point where I have to overfeed just so the fish can get food...

but before I move it over I just wanted to know if anyone has ever had a problem with them eating things they shouldn't etc?
thoughts?

Thanks - Nick

I've never had a problem with them.  But I have seen them catch and eat small fishes.  You can even feed them guppies.

My arrow crab is that size now - almost twice as big as when I got him. Definitely one of the most entertaining thing in my tank. You should see the one my dad got. He literally is the size of a softball. I need to get a picture of him. We got him from chad and he's in a 225 and easily quadrupled in size.

Not many. He's got a royal gramma I think and a six line but those are the smallest. Everything else is pretty big. My brother could chime in here if he remembers what else he has.

He had a problem with some brittle stars that would eat every small creature he put in there so for a long time he didn't put any small fish in.

Ya that is about all the small fish> I have a really big one in my tank. I havent had any probelms with them. I did have one in the past that would catch the smaller fish and try to eat them but they were always to fast. I would just keep in eye on him. If he is being successful then maybe move him. Or sell him. Is this in your sons tank? He doesnt look big enough to eat your clowns. What other fish do you have in it Nick?
