Ok so here's the story. I have a 55 gal set up with a 20 gal sump (AGA Megaflow). So I have had it up and running for a mounth now. My water clearity is not like the others that I have seen. Here is what I have now LR & LS in both the main tank and sump. Cheato in the sump and the bioballs in their compartment. I use RO and I have a Korelia 3 and a maxi jet 900 for in tank flow. I Have been trying to find an Aqua C Remora skimmer but no one has one I guess. I tryed the Coralife Super Skimmer HOB mount. That did not go over to well it was to big and it leaked so I returned it in 2 days.

Is there another form of filtration that I could use that helps water clearity? I looked a a BRS carbon reactor. Or is there a way to plum  out of the sump over to a skimmer sitting next to the sump?

Let me know how I can solve my dilemma
Thanks
Bryce

Can you show a pic of the tank? And the sump with bioballs?
What is in the water that is causing cloudiness or lack of clarity?
A skimmer like that will do nothing for clarity.
There are several things that would work but it depends on your answers to those questions and the way the tank looks.

I agree that a skimmer will not greatly affect water clarity.

That being said... since you have a sump you should definitely go with an in-sump skimmer over a HOB. More efficient, better bang for the buck, far less chance of microbubbles in your main tank...

A skimmer can help clear up water indirectly, in some cases. Carbon can take away a yellow tinge. Filter socks might take out large particles (but I don't use and my water is clear). More life can eat bacteria or phyto blooms. It might just need more time.

A picture would be helpful.

And an Aqua C hanging on your sump would be an excellent idea. imo

If you haven't cleaned the glass a slight film of algae can make a tank look really hazy. I use mag floats, scrapers, pads, whatever you want basically as long as it works and is easy for you.

I agree with what others said that a skimmer isn't really going to help water clearity, but you can add carbon, and a filter sock to help with that. As others have said you need to figure out what you think it is causing the water clearity issues.

worth checking out. Also the BRS carbon reactors are great.
