I usually grab mine at Bird World just because they carry a lot of VHO in stock in all sizes. Other LFS don't seem to carry as much variety.

Honestly you're not going to find them much cheaper. Maybe a buck or two but VHO's are generally $20-35 depending on size and type.

You might be able to find them online, but with shipping and handling it's usually more expensive when all is said and done.

Mountain Shadow's does carry them. I was there yesterday, not sure if I seen any around 5' though. I know for sure there was some 6' and 4'. I was pricing out the 6' and they were asking around 42.00 each.

If you are looking to save $$ it might interest you to know that regular Fluorescent tubes are almost as efficient as VHO when overdriven in a VHO fixture/ballast. Regular 4' Actinics are ~$20 online and a plant grow tube which does the same thing as the UVL ActinicWhite is about $10 at Lowes or HD. Smile yes, it's true.

The wonderment of UVLighting tubes, Super Actinic, Actinic White, etc., is that they have internal reflectors which eliminate the need for an external reflector. They are worth the price, IMO.
