One of my cones lol. Or an ATB 1050a, vertex alpha 250 or any of the swc's that use a Laguna 1500 pump.

I am open to buying one of yours. Why would I buy yours over one of the models that you have listed?

Mine are built very similar to the others, I use the Laguna 1500 pump which is the same pump used on the ATB and Vertex Alpha's. I can build you a skimmer that looks just like ATB 1050a for $600 that's $300 less then the ATB feel free to ask CaptnMorgan about his I built him one last year. Any skimmer that uses the Laguna pump is going to be a good skimmer. ASM's do not even compair to the air/water that a Laguna can pull.

I am setting up the exact same size system and I have a G4 that I am planning on using. The sump is behind the wall because the skimmer won't fit under the stand.
------------- no more tank - need to get rid of extra stuff
So much tank stuff, to little money!

I would strongly recommend Tyler's work. I LOVE my tcfab cone, on all my future tank builds I plan on using Tyler's skimmers. I'll take some pics of mine and post them up. It pulls so much air it looks like it's full of milk.

Tyler how much for a skimmer like yours that is exactly like yours but big enough for my tank. I think I would like one that is self cleaning. Is yours up and running so that you can work any kinks that there might be out?
